Terms of Use — Cardlens
Last updated: July 1, 2026 · End User License Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Keystone Cards (“we,” “us,” “our”) governing your use of the Cardlens application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. This agreement is between you and Keystone Cards only — not with Apple.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service and these Terms, for your personal, non-commercial use.
2. Cardlens Pro subscription
Cardlens offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Cardlens Pro, which unlocks unlimited card scans.
- Price: $2.99 per month (or the local-currency equivalent shown at purchase).
- Billing: Charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing / cancelling: Manage or cancel anytime in your device’s App Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
- Free tier: Without a subscription, the App allows a limited number of scans per month.
- Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple and subject to Apple’s refund policies; we cannot directly issue refunds.
3. Pricing information disclaimer
The App displays estimated market values for trading cards for informational purposes only. These values are aggregated from third-party market data and may be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete. They are not appraisals, offers to buy or sell, guarantees of value, or financial or investment advice. Do not rely on the App’s values for buying, selling, insuring, or any financial decision. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of any price or card identification.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law; (b) use the App for any unlawful purpose; or (c) interfere with or disrupt the App or its data feeds.
5. Intellectual property
The App — including its software, design, and original content — is owned by Keystone Cards and protected by intellectual-property laws. Trading card names, images, characters, sets, and franchises identified by the App are the property of their respective owners. Keystone Cards is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trading card manufacturer, publisher, or grading company.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that identifications or prices will be accurate.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keystone Cards will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the App or its price information. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Apple-specific terms
You acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms are between you and Keystone Cards only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; Keystone Cards is solely responsible for product support.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
- Keystone Cards, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability, legal/regulatory, and intellectual-property claims.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law applies.
